Quatrain of Spaceman's Bones
Spaceman - one who travels in space
1.
He traveled off into space
to regions totally
unknown
On the way the spaceman
died and was left all
alone.
Should we throw his bones
overboard to drift and
freeze?
Aghast! Akin to many sailors
in the past on the high
seas.
2.
We shall say a prayer as
our hearts fill with
wonder,
We shall hope his soul
quickly finds heaven, out
yonder.
The spaceman's bones will
float long past judgment
day.
Smack! Bones against the
spaceship when we come back
this way.
