Quatrain of Staying Alive
Staying Alive - harder for some
than others
I met a man too stupid to
stay alive, no sense in
him could I
persuade.
All the lessens he learned
from his friends, could
not his mind
invade.
Common sense was elusive,
yet his intellect burst
forth astonishingly
well,
Poor soul, believing he was
smarter than others
became his death
knell.
