Swallow - tiny bird
Knowledge - state of knowing

1.
O, the wonder to know more,
to gain insight deep where
darkness doth
prevail,

To spruce up a memory with
thoughts of truth, where
happiness remains so
frail,

The wiser I become, the easier
it is to linger on this winding
road, that life has
laid,

The more swiftly I can
disassemble false ideas and
marvel at reasons
esplanade.

2.
O, marvel, and fill my open
container of knowledge
with enlightened bits of
wisdom

Thy will, to make it easier to
find the key that allows
me to enter the Holy
Kingdom

And when I know more than
I should, I will return the
leftovers to anyone who
follows,

You too, will be able to rejoice;
find happiness just watching
the flight of tiny
swallows.
