Quatrain of Tone Deaf
Tone Deaf - unable to hear the
sound of change
Tone deaf! You decided to marry
the man next door, even
though I gave you
my whole
caboodle.
Not once did I lie as I caressed
the depth of your soul and
dropped affection
you thought
feudal.
I admit, before I met you, I
was a cave man of crude conjecture, off base
with a modern
style,
You taught me to be a lesser
man - smooth on the edges -
now my love isn't
worth your
while.
