Tree of Heaven - called Copal Tree, native
to china

When I was a child I picked up
lunch my mom packed and
headed for the
hills,

Excited and ecclesiastically
innocent it was a day of
remembrance of yesterday's
thrills,

Searching through a stand of
trees I found the shade I
needed after counting to
seven,

Broke out a sandwich, said a
prayer to God, it was my day
to be under the Tree of
Heaven.
