Quatrain of Two Feet
Two Feet - make it on your own
It was my father who told
me to stand on my
own two
feet,
It was a customary phrase
he would never
have to
repeat.
But when I vertically stood,
I found that I was too
afraid to
move,
All these years in these shoes,
it is my standing I have
yet to
prove.
