War Tides - the level (price) of war
When we speak about defending
our country, virtually
keeping our way of
life,
We speak of all that has come
before us; what follows
after inevitable
strife.
We pray safeguarding these
freedoms, will be inherited
as a continued
chore,
When all is done, and our lives
are over, we plead to fathom
the high tide of
war.
