Quatrain of Woad Flower
Woad Flower - a European plant,
of the mustard family
Let me harvest your blue dye,
indigo delight, from the woad
flower,
It has long been planted in the
field, with gleaming spiritual
power.
I watched your dangling clusters,
winged, oval and single
fruit,
You have been my exalted bloom,
since the day love took
root.
