Real Sacrifice - the way of the world

There are periods when you must
sacrifice your goals, your
dreams, even your life,
for the living to
proceed,

It doesn't seem fair to give up
everything in order for the
world to continue, or so
others can possibly
succeed.

This is the harshness the human
has been born into, only God
knows if it is fair, or
if there is a true
reason,

Perhaps, if each soul could dwell
on its own, there would be
no need for mankind to
experience a sacrificial
season.
