Rich & Poor - it's one or the other

The government cannot tax the
rich and give to the poor,
to up their living
pleasure,

Truth be known, taxes are wasted,
they go down a rat hole;
they are not your
treasure.

You must work hard to increase
your gain, waiting for taxes
to redistribute, is
foolhardy,

The government can do some good,
it is little, it will not help
you reach monetary
puberty.
