Quatrain of Sit On My Hands
Just sitting
I was sitting on my hands when
the social justice movement
came marching
by my
feet,
I was going to stand and fight,
to end the nonsense, but
my hands were stuck,
beneath my
seat.
I decided to do what everyone
else was doing, sit and watch
cities burn as obnoxious
thoughts drift in
vain.
When the devil is the teacher,
there is no reversing what
is taught, it just may be,
loss of freedom is the
aim.
