Quatrain of Soul Update

It's time

My soul needs updated every once
in awhile, so I can remain
God's hopeful
child.

If I don't keep on learning what's best
for me, it is likely I will
let my sins run
wild.

I need to follow my spiritual instincts
when it's possible and
learn to behave
outright,

All the reasons for being need to be
known ahead of time, not
as a guide in
hindsight.
