Spiritual Gift - forget it

I sat on the sidelines, watching
my life go by with
all its inevitable
potential,

I didn't wish for my soul to be
involved, I wanted
it to remain
inconsequential.

It seemed easier not be engaged
or to feel happiness
along with great
sorrow,

When your not playing the game
of life, there is no spiritual
gift to win or lose, today
or tomorrow.
