O! Thy Great Plains of North America
where righteous thoughts
spring up like
daisies,


The soil is laden with seeds of soul
food nourished by the hand
of men and the
ladies.


They take their political views and
bury them in the ground,
then rake the sod so
bold,


For they know what they believe and
what they want, but the rest of
the country follows what they're
told.
