New Jersey (1787)


The "Garden State" with land so
fertile a chastity belt had be
used to calm its
desires,

The folks of New Jersey, abide
by lasting grace woven into
the history of its social
fires.

An original colony, it possesses
the instincts of a Columbus
voyage to start democracy
anew,

It has become a community where
everyone hangs together for
the freedoms they now
ensue.
