the Appalachian Cluster
with hand over
heart,


Tis the wealth of honor, the store
of integrity, for which
each day, I
restart.


I bow my head to all the ships that
have sunk in "the graveyard
of the
Atlantic",


I am the recipient of soil cultivated
by past love, by my
ancestors who were
romantic.
