North Dakota (1889)
O! Thy Badlands, thy rich source
of fertile thought, where the
wise appear to
assemble,
Where the rich sod of human
kindness is bound by spiritual
reason making the farm land
tremble.
It was God who carved the
lowlands where people join
together to make an honest
living,
It will be God who blesses all
who live in North Dakota, since
their intellect has become
forgiving.
