Texas (1845)


From a cowboy to a tech employee,
I owe my cultural fortune
to a turbulent
past,


The history of Texas is quite ornate
but one thing for sure we
are here to
outlast.


The pride we feel in our blood, the
flow of everlasting courage
for which freedom
stands,


The raw and lawless frontier now
tamed and well ridden,
accedes to Texan
commands.
