Quatrain of Staying Alive

Living

I have sought the love of God to
ensure my soul gets what
it needs to stay
alive,

From the beginning I worried my
sins would be able
to begrudgingly
survive.

If I can't live a life that is accepted
by God, let me live
one that is not
perverse,

I was blessed to be born on faith,
love God, but not allow
my sins to
disburse.
