Sucking Our Breath - that is government
at its best

If freedom is a God given
humanitarian right, it has
been jackhammered
to near
death,

Wherever you precipitously
turn, governments have
imposed their will,
sucked out all
breath.

Freedom is just another word
for everything we can lose,
it was given to man
as a spiritual
grant.

One day we all shall pray for
freedom to return; restore
faith in ourselves, since
government
can't.
