Swamp Draining - hard to do

There was a swamp that needed
drained, but the alligators
kept the drainer
away,

The only way to pull the plug was
to kill the alligators and
turn to the creator and
pray.

Behold: The plug was stuck; the
swamp didn't lower, opening
the drain came to a quick
stop,

But if the dirty water could be
drained, more swampy liquid
would reenter anyway,
and fill the hole
to the top.
