place,

As you watch life go by it is easy
to think your getting ahead,
fact is, you are
just keeping
pace.

The stream of life is too powerful
for life's force to move ahead,
the best to expect is to
stay in place and
stare.

You were not put here on earth to
swim up river, you were put here
to experience life's water
pass by, as if going
somewhere.
