Talking To God

I talked to God only yesterday,
we spoke for nearly an
hour with little
hesitation,

At first it was only small talk,
then we got serious, began
arguing about
salvation,

It's my belief there is no need
for my life to be a model
for others to watch and
cheer,

After all, it's God's job to teach
the principles of right and
wrong; my job not to
interfere.
