Quatrain of the Leap

The Leap - together we go

I put myself first and found
there were many
ahead of
me,

I had to adjust the meaning
of my soul, to find
where I should
be.

It is my hope not to find
myself at the bottom
where I can take no
leap,

I must remember, I only come
first if I can stay way
on top of the
heap.
