Quatrain of There Is Me Two

Me two

There is me, slightly wise, with a
heart of gold and wearing
my only spirit
on my
back,

There is me, slightly unwise, with
a vulgar thought
strapped to the
wisdom I
lack.

I know that living with myself is a
hard road to walk, but I
have no other
redeeming
trend,

I must battle, with a standard gift
of reason from my soul,
there are two of
me I must
defend.
