Time Given

I have been forced to face
death simply because
I am alive, oh,
what a tragic
creation.

A better design would have
been an eternal body
and not have to
worry about
obliteration.

I now must live with a design
flaw not of my making,
but blaming God
will not help
avail,

I have had to adjust my entire
outlook, and make the best
of the time I am given
on life's
trail.
