Quatrain of Tiny Split
Tiny Split - not much different
than the English Rule
When Americans left the the
old world to start anew,
we split away thinking
a great
divide,
We wanted to get away from
King George best we could,
but we narrowly
escaped his
hide.
Instead of breaking away with
great distance, we scarcely
made a difference
in George's
rule,
We could not bring ourselves to
abolish the monarch completely,
once again, we are now just
hairs breath in front of
the tyranny
mule.
