Quatrain of To Be Tolerant
To Be tolerant - is this what it's like?
I survived the vile words you
projected at me when
I didn't accept your
views,
I bowed my head in response
to your angry wishes
my beliefs simply
refuse.
I tolerated the last implication
of your hate and ignored
your desire to
implode,
The next time you disparage
my values, I will wear my
mental armor God
bestowed.
