Fewer mistakes
I have travel the trail of life
by watching those
before me I can
glean,
I do not make fewer mistakes
from taking notes
of those often
seen.
I have never noticed any
intellectual advances
that should
abound.
I've spent my life on a trail
that goes nowhere,
no new thoughts
found.
