Team, though the
tryouts were
brutal,

I worked night and day to
outdo other entrants,
it was callously
futile,

I never received a spot on
the roaster, couldn't
even sit on the
bench,

With so many sins in my life,
a place on God's Holy
Team, I could not
clench.
