Up Close - to God

When I noticed you weren't linked
to God, I stood my distance
from your soul thinking
it would be
fair,

My wish - to be mystically connected
to the Holy Spirit I firmly
defend and definitely
believe is truly
there.

Man does not stand alone, he is
pre-ordained to rule the world
but doesn't control the
direction of life
so warmly
abiding,

If you wish for us to be closer, you
do not have to believe as I, but
you need to respect the
distance between
us with no
chiding.
