Ups & Downs - that's life

The world turns in a gradual
motion but our lives
seem to go in
spurts.

One day we conquer our greatest
fears and the next we
are hit where it
hurts.

The world spins ever so smoothly
yet our lives must travel
in great ups and
downs,

Somehow we are not in harmony
with the place we live, we
hear life where there are
no sounds.
