What A Shame - yes, indeed

Without mankind, the earth would come
and go without realizing
its full
potential,

Nothing would be used, nothing gained,
it would waste its soul
and all that is
essential.

It is man who uses the bounties floating
through the heavens, no one
else does it quite the
same,

If not for humankind, the earth need not have been born, no reason for it
to float in space, it would be
shame.
