What It Means - what is good

Some of the stupidest ideas
come from the noblest
reasons, I do
declare,

But what is noble can be
idiotic, nobility can lead
to zany reasons, to be
fair.

We mostly wish to do good,
but we often have trouble
knowing what it
means,

What is best for you is not
always best for me,
sometimes it's not
worth a hill of
beans.
