Quatrain of White Guilt
For control
I have always been white, like the
snow on the ground,
and yet my soul is
without an
apology.
If I had been black I would have
resembled the night,
while paying no
attention to my
ethnology.
White comes with a little privileged,
but no guilt, every color
provokes at least
a marginal
effect .
A Nation that allows anyone in, must
believe in human nature,
we all have a
little sin to
correct.
