World Spinning - why am I sinning

In spite of myself, I am who I
truly am, of this
there is no
denying.

I wish to be a better soul, but
it's not working,
although I'm
trying.

I pray everyday for new guidance,
for understanding
of my
sins,

If only I knew why I commit them,
I could change; see the
world correctly as it
spins.
