Mankind rarely takes a step
backward when it comes
to technological
prowess on a
dynamic
roll,

But there are times it has
pitifully happened;
set progress back
greatly; taken a
evolutionary
toll.

We shipped off to the moon -
stopped, never more to
roam - flew at the
speed of sound
o'er water and
died.

These, and other feats, will take
stage again, it's imperative we
make up for lost time
and get a grip on
our scientific
pride.
