Yearning To Sleep - it happens

There are times at night,
when I cry
myself to
sleep,

There are times when my
soul wiggles
without a
peep.

There are times a grueling
day is a struggle
not to
keep,

There are times when I yearn
to slumber - I say a prayer
in lieu of counting
sheep.
